Early in 2020, we were contacted by Elena Jones, who was working for Manchester City Council on a project called The ESOL Advice Service.

This service is offered to Manchester residents who need to improve their English language skills.

They were in the process of developing better coordination of ESOL services in Manchester amongst all providers including voluntary and community organizations, The Manchester College and private providers.

The primary message of the film, which had to work for both employers and students, was that people looking to learn English in Manchester need to have one assessment only.

We suggested a fresh, lively design and animation style which would ensure clarity but hopefully be a pleasure to watch too.
